Product Description
LEADA 1200 SUPER CUT COMPOUND is a high-performance, professional-grade abrasive compound engineered to deliver powerful, long-lasting cutting power while producing a smooth, high-gloss finish. Designed for professional automotive refinish and body shop applications, it is the go-to solution for permanently removing P1500 or finer sanding marks from all modern paint systems, including the latest energy-efficient or "hyper" clear coats.
This versatile compound delivers a smear-free, high-lubricity formula that ensures no dragging, staining, or hazing on fresh-cured paintwork. Its advanced formulation provides consistent cutting performance without diminishing over time, making it suitable for both general purpose and heavy-duty correction tasks. It contains no fillers or silicones, ensuring permanent results free from rework or dye-back.
Key to its efficiency is its transparent characteristic during application, allowing operators to clearly visualize the work area and confirm when defects have been eliminated—eliminating delays in workflow and maximizing productivity.

Recommended Usage
Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean and degrease the paint surface to remove dust, oil, tar, and contaminants. Ensure the paint is fully cured where applicable.
Pad Selection: For optimal performance, use a high-quality cutting foam pad (e.g., medium to hard compounding foam). For best results with rotary polishers, use a 6" or 8" high-cut foam pad.
Application: Shake the product well. Apply a small amount (4–6 pea-sized drops) evenly across the polishing pad or directly onto the surface.
Polishing Technique:
- Rotary Polisher: Operate at 900–1300 RPM with light to medium pressure. Work in 50cm x 50cm sections using overlapping, cross-hatch passes to ensure even coverage.
- DA Polisher: Operate at 3,500–5,500 OPM with moderate pressure.
Finishing: Continue polishing until all sanding marks are removed and a uniform, high-gloss finish is achieved. The compound will break down to a fine, transparent film as work progresses.
Cleanup: Wipe away any excess residue with a clean, lint-free microfiber towel. For an enhanced gloss finish on dark colors, follow up with a fine finishing polish.
